Gary was born and raised in northern Minnesota and the 13th of 14 siblings. After a stint in Arizona he decided to go to college at St. Scholastica in Duluth where he met Joan.

Joan was born and raised in Mankato and is the 4th of 6 siblings. A graduate of Mankato Loyola, once she saw the campus of St. Scholastica, she knew this was the school for her.

We married after college, started a family and have raised three children. Over the years we bought and sold homes, learning how to upgrade and maintain them.
